They said to still send them in though. Hopefully they help me out. Im probably just going to replace the titans the get a big 4s gens ace lipo. See how fast it goes. I just ordered a merv almost brand new for 150 with the thunder ac6 charger. It will charge all types of batteries. Which is good, because i haven't got a lipo charger yet and i need one.

It's been raining all morning. So I have not yet went out to get some good video. But on the plus side, all this rain should make for some really good mudding footage!

Yes, well, umm I didn't know until just a few minutes ago that this "rain storm" is actually Tropical Storm Debby (Where the heck did she come from??)

My county is under flood warnings until 8pm

I think it's safe to say that I WON'T be getting out today.

But I do have tomorrow off from work!!

Heh, storms have a nasty habit of appearing don't they? Especially when one is driving a convertible.

but with a mud clean up you get to see whats broke/missing. if i drive in the dry it just goes back in the shed till next time.

I'm due for a good teardown cleaning anyways.

The storm is still over us but is moving north. I may have a chance this afternoon to get out and run it.

It's not that I'm worried about the truck, I want some good mudding footage. I just don't want to stand in the rain to do it!! Plus the overcast will hinder the quality of the footage.

Angry Guess it's time for some new screws

Well I had a great time running the Maxx yesterday… got some good video.

So this morning I started a full tear down service/cleaning and I have one, yes ONE 2mm hex screw that is stripped out so I can't get the front bulkhead off the chassis

So I'm off to the hardware store for a set of ez-outs since the set I HAD seemed to have grown legs and walked out of my tool box

Whats a good brand of screws? I think I've seen folks recommend RC Raven but I'm not sure.

i just get mine from online engineering shops, just get the size of what you need and qty. I find them to be a less price than hobby screws.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll look around some.

Mini- I don't think I can do that in this case. It's one of the screws that is countersunk into the chassis. If the Ez-outs don't work I guess I'll have drill it out.

Little bit of drilling and an Ez-Out did the trick…

That little sucker was dug in like an Alabama tick!
