    Cool Painting Lexan Body With Normal Spray Paint

    I was wondering if a normal spray can will work on an lexan body? If not, why?
    Which Body do you think is best for a Slash 4x4?

    i have painted a losi micro t lexan body and it turned out fine, just make sure the spary paint you use can be used on plastic because their are some that cant

    Do some research it does not work. Use polycarbonate paint.

    From what I have seen, the paint doesn't stick to the body well. Peels off fast!

    I think the whole idea of using special paint is for the flexibility of the body. If you have ever seen a real car with a busted up fender that is bent pretty hard, you can see the paint flaking off, which is because the paint is not flexible. The polycarbonate paint, for arguments sake, is like rubber; bending with the body. The regular paint is more like a hard piece of thin plastic, you bend it and it breaks in two, which then causes it to peel as El Sob says.
