    How Much you got to be kidding

    I just got off the phone with a local supplier who tells me that the price he will be selling these in Aussie for will be $1380 talk about being ripped as our dollar is floating at or just above parity to the US $

    I thought maybe a little bit for freight and some taxes but this is too much , rip off importers I will keep sending my money off shore until they get real with pricing on traxxas products down here

    I hope he has got it wrong on the calculator some how

    Will have to wait and see ....................... rant over feel better now

    Currency exchange rates can be funny. You gotta look at other metrics to get a feel for it. Like the whopper index, how much does a whopper from BK cost you?

    Bet it sounds high to us yanks.

    im in the UK and we are getting done on this car. as it works out way over the $ to exchange rate. but some other company's products get shipped here dead on the exchange rate.

    They may be anticipating high demand for the car during the initial rollout.

    They won't be in a hurry to drop the price if sales are strong right away.
