It is already my fourth Traxxas car, but I am still excited about my Boss 302 that is on its way. I had a VXL set laying around after upgrading my Merv to big block. So I ordered a Boss roller and a 2.4 receiver.
The car will be here tomorrow, but the receiver will take around a week.
So I will be around this part of the forum more often to ask all kind of newbie questions about it

Sadly it didnt arrive today, but hopefully I get it tomorrow. I took a day off, not for the car, but it would be great if it arrives tomorrow.

Thanks! Time for upgrades already. I bumped into a stone which was sticking out a bit and that caused a pillow ball come through the knuckle. So I ordered a black alu set of those. Together with steel GPM rods and black alu rockers.

Ok, ok. My Mustang is cool. I forgot it's an american car
I ordered the GPM knuckles from a German website. Shipping costs to the Netherlands are not too bad and their prices are ok and therefor a goo alternative for the USA sites. I couldnt find them elsewhere either.

Hard to find RPM rear arms on stock somewhere. The weather isnt very cooperative either. I have to get used to the dirt inside, because this is my first R/C car where the body covers the wheels. More cleaning work. But the fun is worth it.

Hmm. Destroyed a knuckle by drifting against a stripe on the asphalt. The pillow ball popped through it. Not cute...
I gave my spare plastic knuckles from my Merv away a while ago, so now I have to wait until my GPM ones come in the mail. Maybe glueing the cap into the knuckle helps so I can do some Xmas-drifting.
