Dyed my 23mm wabash wheels black and wraped them with some Big Joes. They look huge on my revo. I still need to tape and gule them.

Installed a Wing mount, Carbon fiber wing, installed RPM true track, installed front and rear RPM bumpers, red push rods, Need to paint the platinum body that came in the mail today, ordered a set of 40 series wheels and tires. Now I just need to run the crap out of my 3.3 so I can install the brand new Traxxas steel drive shaft kit & Picco .26 paired with THS exhaust I have sitting on the shelf...

Finished installing RPM A arms and RPM axle carriers/steering blocks all the way around. For any of you guys that are thinking about the steering blocks I have to say that they are worth every penny. You will have bullet proof carriers & no more axle slop. The RPM bearings are much better than the stock ones.

Removed the EZ start because I ran over the wand with the Revo Stopped at Maximus Hobby on the way home and picked up a ...shhhhhh...Losi... igniter and when I got home, put on a pull start. First pull and it started right up.

Took the 2.5 to the pit and thrashed 1/2 a quart through her, I must say that she's running like a champ and it was 95f outside with head temps around 225f and bump wheelies like mad.

Mounted up Summit Front and Rear bumpers, wired in the LED's, added 4 Integy spot lights, fabricated a staggered mount for the spot lights, installed the telemtry for the new TQI I picked on Ebay, mounted the OS .30 to New Era BB conversion kit, and cut out a New GMC Top Kick body this weekend.

It was a FUN weekend tinkering on the REVO, finally a full weekend of nothing but RC!!

Next weekend, mask of the Top Kick, paint it, and start a new build on a carbon fiber chassis Revo with an LRP.

Thanks. Yea when I uploaded that Photo to Photo bucket it looked fine!! Go figure. The Raptor body and color is the favorite. I have a Top Kick Body now I'm working. My son wants me to Replicate "Iron Hide" from the Transformers movie! Looks like it will just get a nice coat of black, Transformer decals, and working exhaust stacks with chrome golf shaft material! Outta be another fun project.

Took the whole family to the gravel pit and flogged them all.

I must say that I still like my 2.5 better than my 3.3, maybe it's because the shorter wheel base and stiff suspension make it a little more unpredictable and thus more fun to drive. 2 quarts on the revo's.

The stampede got flogged for 2-3s packs with no breakage and the honcho held together for 2 hrs of hard crawling with no breakage either.

All and all I'd say me and my trucks had a great day.

    Installed my Savox SA-1283SG

    Yeah. BOY!

    416/.13

Compared to the 1256TGs 277/.15 and only for $20 more =)

Currently just straight swapped it for the 2075 that was in there and there is HUGE amounts of difference.

Still need to put the heavy duty servo saver spring in, and fix a slight issue with the steering not wanting to pull left as strong.
The RX was pretty flat and im still impressed.

I've got some video action that i'll put up after i recharge, fix said issue and install the heavy spring =)

And our bottle of fuel arrived today too =P

Fooled around on the local racetrack. Started to adjust the tranny because it puts the 2nd gear way to late, will continue fine tuning tomorrow.

First time taking off the engine from the revo (first time taking one off at all for that matter) and replaced the slipper clutch, took it out and went for a few minutes on the local football field for a check if it went as it should and sprayed some dirt to a couple o kids amusement.

Played with my new 3.3 rustler build. Got it all tuned in and holy smokes, that thing is FUN! Stupid fast speeds and wheelies on command!!! Ran 3 tanks through it before the torque of the 3.3 + grip of badlands tires = snapped stock axle. Time to order some steel shafts.

Also put 4 tanks through the OS .30 REVO build.....not use to tuning and OS motor so more work left with that truck. Even not tuned has monster torque. Will need to work on the clutch setup to.

    All in all.......FUN day!

That was with the picco .26 and Buku clutch. I haven't been able to get any video of it with the .30 yet. I have an OFNA 3 shoe 1/8 scale in it now and just not too happy with it. I'll probably man up and spend the $$$ on the Buku 1/8 scale clutch for it so I can tune the clutch in.

I am running the red shoes and 1.0 springs right now. I put the wing on mine, not a wheelie bar fan. Haven't found one yet the doesn't look cheesy or that will work with my setup right now

Yes. Tekno sway bars on front only. In the rear I have the RPM True Track arms, 30pd springs, 50wt oil w/variable damping. I had a set of the integy MSR6 piggy backs on it and they worked ok, but the stock shocks with the right and spring are hard to beat.

traxxas sway bat kit works great as well, I just like the Tekno kits. Very compact. I have 2 sets of the traxxas sway bar kits, but I didn't like drilling the rockers.

Was not running well yesterday and I stripped first gear so out came the tranny. Noted a lot of oil/fuel sprayed around the rear shocks and side of the block which, in the past, has been an indicator of a broken header. Instead found a loose head bolt that I may have missed when reinstalling the head a while back. Two of the holes in the block are stripped so in went the replacement block. Installed new gears, adjusted the slipper, removed the Losi carb and installed the Traxxas one back on and ran for about 1/2 tank today which still had some issues running. Had to leave for work so it's back on my workbench.
Guess it didn't like the neglect due to the move.
