    Stampede with SC tires?

Does any one have any pics of a Pede 4x4 with SC tires?

I have only seen that on a Pede with a longer chassis and different body. Wait.... that was a Slash. Never mind.

I have tried those from my slash and it doesn´t look good, too skinny and small.

I run the SC Badlands mounted on front 2wd Slash rims (for the offset), with a lowered st body it looks great and handles even better. Great tires those Badlands....

I run the Slash 4x4 offset BFG Mud Terrains every now and then for fun as well. They have way less grip than my Trenchers so it slides much more rather than flipping.

The only issue though is it looks a bit weird because the arms are so wide and the tires are pretty far out. I'm wondering if there are any narrower arms that are an easy fit. I guess The Jang put Slash 2x4 rear arms on the front and rear but I don't know how much narrower those really are. I can't seam to find actual dimensions.

I think it would depend on which body you run and how low, because SC tires look fine on a Slash which is the same width as the Pede. The Pede's shorter wheelbase should make the SC tires look even more scale. But again, i think it depends on the body. SC tires looks great on Pede Truggys!

I love TowerHobbies because they measure everything!

    Slash 2WD Rear RPM Arms
    Length: 95mm (3.7")
    Width: 47mm (1.85")
    Height: 10.5mm (0.41")

    Slash/Pede 4x4 Rear RPM Arms
    Length: 100.5mm (3.96")
    Width: 45.5mm (1.79")
    Thickness: 8mm (0.31")

Awesome Slaughter! Exactly what I needed.

So, if one does the shorter arms you need to shorten the drive shafts and the turnbuckles.

I liked the way this truck runs on both carpet and clay but these tires only worked for carpet. I ended up with AKA City Blocks for the clay.

These are 2x4 front offsets, gives a bit wider stance.

    Pede 4x4 2.2/3.0 wheels/Badlands SC

It's 12" wide with the front offset 2wd rims and the thick front hex's. Handles very good at speed, lots of front bite in turns so I reduce the steering dual rate....

Rastus, what's the width with 4x4 slash wheels? Do you have the 2WD on front and rear? SC rims/tires looks much better than Talons/Trenchers on 2.8.

Those are 2wd fronts all around, the rear width is right at 12" with the thick front hex's. I use the aluminum STRC versions, this one has the MMP/3800SCT system running on 3s with a 13t pinion. I really like this setup, good power and handling in a lighter more nimble version than the larger/heavier tire equipped setups...

The Badlands SC tires are on a wide carcass, the width is almost the same as the 30 series Badlands with the major difference being the height. The SC's at 4.4" and the 30series at 5"

Here's my 4x4 pede with 17mm shortcourse wheels and SC Trenchers

And here it is with XTM RAILwheels and tires. I run nothing but 17 mm hex. I've stripped far too many 12 mm wheels.
