I'm sure the only reason they went with Apple is the common docking connector the iPod/iPhone provide. Android phones don't have any kind of common connection, and I'm sure Traxxas didn't want to go the Bluetooth route.
I curious about the suspension, as far as spring rates and damping. If it's actually generating the downforce they claim, the spring rates are going to have to be pretty robust to keep the car from bottoming out at speed. Seems like that could lead to some skittish handling at lower speeds...Slash VXL

More information will be posted as it becomes available. Word is that XO-1 handles great at all speeds and is a fun vehicle for driving even at 50mph

Another question, figured use my thread instead of a new one.
the ESC for this guy. am i seeing this right in the pictures... It is a "normal" Monster Mamba in a funky housing with an external Cap bank? I see in the specs it is still limited to 6s which makes me think this.

It's an updated MMM (new FETS), and the ONLY place you can get it right now is in the XO-1. Castle sells the Cap bank seperately on their website. Originally Posted by Cameron

Yeah i would get the XO-1 and enter in races for 1/8th touring and just see how it would do

I'll stick with my latest creation for now... much cheaper lol

No thats my erbe-gt i finally got the body done on. Erbe with slayer pro suspension with limiters. Protoform PF8-GT body with a modified wheelbase. Will be running a MMM 2200kv on 4s lipo.(RAH)² (AH)³ + [ROMA (1+MA)] + (GA)² + (OOH)(LA)²
