It had better being freaking awesome after all this hype. It had better be some ground-breaking vehicle like the Summit was when it came out.
Why can't other people share my opinions?

Im also feeling a Big Block engine! Kind of like the O.S. 21TM, it will be a direct drop-in. Maybe a Revo trX .21!

To be fair all traxxas did to "hype" this up was to put an X on the homepage with a date.
Some like R/C's that are fast, others like nitro

Maybe it will be something NEW and OVER THE TOP. If they do a 1/8 truggy or buggy, i would love to see them develop a big block for them. Or atleast beef up the 3.3 so we don't keep splitting rods
Hows that nitro taste on your electric?

"The Fastest Name in R/C" has plenty of trucks and even a fast boat but no plane. Maybe they're making something that flies? Something with comparable performance to a Stryker would be cool, 100+ MPH wouldn't be tough...

thats very true....but traxxas doesnt have one. Its hard to say what traxxas is up to. Companies have built planes, helis, cars, trucks, etc. Seriously there isnt much you can name doesny havr an rc version.....theres semi trucks, boats....

Maybe an e85 powered vehicle? That hadnt been done yet...going green traxxas?

I don't think this has been mentioned, but then again I haven't read every post, I think it's going to be a new 1/8th scale brushless system. Think about it, when traxxas released the vxl system their teaser was a "spinning" V. Now we have a spinning X, coincidence, I think NOT!

Just my input, doesn't mean it's worth anything....

All those three (E-4tec, Nitro Vee & Monster Buggy) are older models Traxxas has discontinued.

    1. 1/10 or 1/8 scale monster truck with a gas engine...like the HPI Savage with the gas engine that was leaked to be in the works a few months ago. http://www.bigsquidrc.com/hpi-18th-scale-gas-teaser/
    2. FPV Vehicle
    3. 1/5 scale vehicle

    ^^^ That's my guesses

No that's the 1/16 summit. A lot of people run Mamba Monster in it though.

I know what the new car is about a month ago traxxas said they would be sponsering a drag car next year and the car was going to be a force to dael with. so with that it has to be a 1/8 funny car and plus that X is the same one that is on the side of all john force racing funny cars.

they have been with Kawi motocross bike's to, but you don't see them having an RC motorbike. Hope to see a Castle XL powered brushless SCT/desert truck.

Let's all take this into consideration,

    5th scales cost much more then $800. ($850 - $1700)
8th scales are in the $500-$700 range
10th scales are in the $150-$450 range depending on ESC, motor, etc.

Traxxas is known to produce products for the bashers. You will not see much racers use Traxxas unless it is the Slash series. But maybe they will leap into the Racer's division and produce something out of this world to get them into division with a good start.
    This is really difficult.

true..but then traxxas could come out with a 5th scale and have it priced at 930-1000..

Since TRX uses Castle ESC's and Motors, I'm about 60% thinking that it's going to be what you say, a 1/5 scale BL using the Castle XL setup. Maybe just stretch a Revo out to 1/5 scale size like Kershaw projects. But then part of me thinks a 1/5 gasoline rig to compete with the new Losi 4x4, the HPI, and Redcat etc. Especially since TRX had the original Monster Buggy fuelie way back in the '90's (ironically it was the only thing they sold that was NOT RTR). The six foot thing has me thinking of a 6 foot boat... call it the SpartanMaxx !

If the near $1k price is true it would almost have to be a 1/5 gasoline SC truck. That price is so far above anything that TRX sells, I just can't think it would be anything else. Even a brand new 1/8 scale buggy/truggy from AE/Losi barely hits that price range.

(will the shims come with it for the camber)
does it have a long exhaust pipe for the fumes to escape while its under water.
thats my last guess before the date.
