yes. few months ago traxxas updated the spartan esc and motor setup to castle

i cant afford the new release but nice too see it and save for it and sell off some of my fleet to get one maybe if its worth it, want to hear first how it performs from those who buy this first before jumping in and buying something. what parts are going to need to be upgraded and what kinda upgrades are going to be made avaliable on the market for it and if its going to be gas/nitro/electric preferred. there's more of a market for electric i think. cheaper for one atleast for me. looking forward to new product whatever it is.

yeah doesnt that castle motor say something about 10hp or something? i'm sure its going to be big that why i wouldnt be able to buy it but i will certianly save and sell some of what i have to buy one if its using that motor.

My vote would be for a Slash based trophy/desert truck with full interior and roll cage like the ones Axial and HPI are releasing. A lot of guys have been asking for a 1/Xth scale electric 4-Tec, though. I'm not really a fan of the 16th scale vehicles. A larger version of the E-Maxx with a waterproof BL system would be cool, too. I'd love to be able to run my BL Maxx in the snow without risking catastrophic failure or modifying the electronics. I fried a castle system by getting it wet one time, and I won't risk it again.

I'm happy with something NEW, anything but a rework of an existing model. Except for maybe a Revo/E-Revo 1/8 with all the Truggy goodies that they DONT have. They are tough now but bulletproof them.
