    Battery Cooling

After I use a battery, and it get real hot; is it a bad idea to put it in the refrigerator? How about the whole car to cool the motor and esc?

many store their batteries in the fridge but I wouldn't recommend putting them in if they're hot as the temp difference will ruin them. ultimately you need lipo because it doesn't heat up noticeably but you can lower your gearing.

do you want me to PM you a link for further nimh battery reading?

I made this back when I raced with nimh. Works great but now I'm all lipo.
