either.... i run stock shocks with ace hardware springs. the springs are a lot stiffer than stock... if i want them to raise the rear end, i tighten up the pre-load adjuster
Love how Noobs ask a ?, then say you're wrong
I am runing the black springs is the ones you talking about stiffer?

Jimbo, I went the ace route as well from your recommendation in a previous post. The front are perfect. The back, I am still having issues with. I have used 80wt oil in the rear and the traxxas upgraded shocks. I still have the rear spring pretty well tightened down and I don't get the response I would like/expect. Do you find this as well?
its been fine for me..... i also run front rockers in the rear though..... the rear end is going to sag, that what it does.... it isnt going to keep the rear end from bottoming out... these vehicles hit bottom on jumps, no matter what you do to them.....
