It started as a T-maxx and now is a E-Maxx. All i bought was the emaxx tranny and the evx-2 speed control. i had bought the T-maxx used and got tired of the nitro. so i made a electric plow truck. it has a dewalt 14.4 motor in it and it has tons and tons of torque.

I like the Deere body.
I just killed my 17 mounth, 300 run stock titans
. Looking at the Dewalt, KD single 700-OH, KD Dewalt 820?, KD 550 crawler motors?, or HIP/Traxxas titans. Any ideas? I want to stay around $50, so brushless is prettymuch out for the moment...
I just oiled all the bearings, oiled both diffs, and cleaned prettymuch everything. I need to look into shocks, but I just spent $200 on a Thunder Power lipo (more than I wanted to spend, but I got a 4s 5200mah 65c G6 lipo for about $60 off) and am going to spend ~$50 on motors, so, everything else is put on hold."American Muscle beats import any day of the week"

the dewalt for me isnt a very fast motor. it may be how i have it geared because guys that run them on youtube they seem faster then mine.but i have a slash vxl so thats my fast truck. i actually didnt spend anything on the motor. it was in one of out drills that had a bad chuck. the dewalt that i have is the 14.4 xrp model..the cheaper models arent rebuildable.the brushes for mine are like 4 dollars and are easy as pie to change.i havent tried any other motors in my emaxx but my dad has one..it has the 2 titans in it and he runs a 11.1v lipo and that thing is quick.

Why are you running the 2.8 trenchers rather than the 3.8s?

i was just mocking stuff up. i was trying to make a realistic exhaust but it doesn't look great.with the body on it looks decent. SLASHVXL im running those tires because they give it a more scale look and personally i like how they don't eat the body like the 3.8's. they have tons of traction and i had already had them laying around.

Hmmm, so why don't you do a twin VXL or a KD waterproof brushless to have something to compare to the MMM?

yes. i used the paint for lexan thinking it would stick better but it still scratches really easy but it does what i want it to do

mines ready, where going to have a a heavy snow season this year.
There's about 7 different versions of the new style 14.4V dewalt motor, some weak, some not so weak. Mine was out the xrp drill but can't find another motor with the same part number online as I wanted going to go dual.Motorcycle/Quad,Think sand vehicle, piggy backs

like the truck i ran 2.8 trenchers on an emaxx before it worked out well , great idea on how to mount the plow too now all you need todo it put in on a seperate channel to make it go up and down

Got my paddles sitting on my desk waiting for foams and tire glue. But I have 3 14mm hex wheels and 1 17mm wheel for them, so might have to wait on new wheels too, and no snow here yet anyway :-(
