Yeah, there's a few people that have mentioned it in the Lounge.
The Super Derecho
What's your take on it?
Maybe a remake of the monster buggy?

Hmmm... I would be very Uninterested in a 1/8 buggy... but VERY interested in a 1/5 gasser.
I would think it would make NO sense to build 1/5 buggy... the competition has just finished switching from 1/5 buggy's to 1/5 SC... with traxxas' dedication and history with SC trucks I would think a 1/5 SC truck would make alot of sense.... OR... if I got my wish... I really good, high ground clearance, long travel 1/5 Monster truck...

ERBE, Rally,
Motley Crew, 1SQ
Guy's come on what other vehicle does traxxas race with?
A DIRT BIKE!
That is probably what it is.

I have seen many people post that in the Lounge as well. I have no idea what it could be, but maybe it could be another expensive electric one like the E-Revo brushless or something along those lines. I personally don't think that a 1/5 scale vehicle will fit into anyone's budget right now, but things could change with the economy around Christmas time.

I sure hope it isn't like the Monster Buggy was !
The shadow picture they have on Big Squid looks identical to the Monster Buggy.

well they dont have an actual picture. its just a rumor, only reason the monster buggy is posted is because it was the only 1/5 scale gasser traxxas made. big quid thinks it might be a gasser too. we will see!
if you want me to i can break your truck for free!
Would be cool, but good luck cause HPI pretty much has that class covered ! Iam interested to see what it is and how it compares !
my post was deleted. epic bullcrap

3_rolls let out some brief information saying " a few things" so it seems like theres more then 1 vehicle being released. still no release date. Dont believe ANYBODY saying they have insider info

1/5 by its price point has always priced itself out of alot of budgets. It is alot of money for an RC. Then again budgeting is paying you needs first then proritizing your wants. If it is to be and preferably 4wd I will probably pre-order one, even at a $1000+ price point.
Pay It Forward.
Ha, ha - and my 9-yr. old son wants Traxxas to bring out a 1/2 scale!!! Of course, I'M the one who's supposed to fit that in my budget.![]()
1/10 Summit (x2)
1/10 E-Revo
1/16 E-Revo b/l
Supposed to be something more expensive than the revo.
The endless possibilities of what traxxas could do...
I for one cannot wait to see what it will be, even though it will most likely never enter my inventory of trucks from traxxas. Most likely I will not purchase another truck, most likely sell em in the next year or soTo help with what's gonna be going on in my life... Driver's license, Motocross, education, and much more. I just don't have time for these trucks anymore.
Hows that nitro taste on your electric?
Don't worry, Toxic. Sounds like a case of "one step back, then two steps forward". (Well, hopefully there'll be more than two.) You can always get back into RC once you've got a few of the necessities taken care of.
1/10 Summit (x2)
1/10 E-Revo
1/16 E-Revo b/l
I may get back into it in the future if i ever just have money to spare. I would definately go with 1/5 scale though.
Selling these trucks off is actually my choice. Im not being forced to sell them, I just have more important things in life right now and want to have a little bit of money to do those things.
Ive got a buddy with an old xl-1 rustler tho. I got him into the hobby, and he bought that and had a pretty good time with it for about 6 months. We had the same crystals in our tq2 controllers, so we never could drive together. He broke his steering servo one day and the truck has been sitting on a shelf for over 4 years. He prefers to watch me drive and drive my trucks, because they are upgraded and fast. He loves my revo because the size and speed, and he loved my merv too. He wants $30 for his rusty with 2 chargers, 1 battery, and a full toolbox of parts. So i might just pick it up next time I am at his house. If I do, I will keep that atleast

Ok, I'll let you guys in on something classified. I know for a fact that's it's not only a new R/C, but 6 new semis (race haulers) for me and my friends... The R/C will be a replica of my quad!
Ok, maybe not, so I'll now return to the real world...![]()
