Hey andy, I know all about the ______ working my way through ________ myself and scouring eBay and watching family guy on fx. The boy is asleep and my wife is on a Christmas party. Life is sweet.

I just sprayed some meths into my old pipe after drilling and shook it about. I blew the air hose through it too.

The picco carb is perfect, I have never changed it but when I used to run a piece of crap rb engine which struggled with carb alignment I opted for a ball raced bell crank, blue anodised to match too. I think there are some on eBay usually.

Did you set an o ring down in the crank case? An orange one as I had a black one and orange and manual shows to put one down the carb neck. The orange was to big and black sat round carb neck. I've not put one down crankcase as it was way too big n thought was stupid etc.

I will do the stinger tomoz if I get the chance. Hoping to go down huge car park n get a ton of duel through .

I didn't touch the carb mate, apart from alignment that is. My picco is exactly how it came out of the box.

I had to fit mine but could never work out where both gaskets went so I assumed the orange was a gasket for exhaust port..

Were they the tiny type that gets fitted to the trx engine manifolds? The orange ones? If there were two I would assume one for carb and one for spare.

Andy, you are correct. The black one is for the carb, the other one is for the exhaust. The diagram is confusing because it shows you should put a gasket down the carb neck, but it is already installed on the carb. At least that is how mine came.

Thanks Jake. Thats exactly how mine came, black one on neck and other loose. I spent ages trying to fit the orange one down neck when i opened the box.. doh..

Mikey.. yes it was the tiny orange one and thick black one.. was confusing but i done the right thing.

I don't think I ever fitted one to the manifold joint but then again I never fitted the stock traxxas manifold on there, I opted straight for the spring loaded header.

Im gonna give the filter a chance, its really thick rubber and air tight with huge nipples hehe. I been lazy tonight and watched UFC 140 instead of wrenching. Maybe i might just go try and break the 2 shoes before i install the 3 shoes but maybe i wont. Crimbo shopping tomoz, i have been told. Shame the LHS closed down otherwise i might buy more stuff for me.

Took Revo out today first time since sorting the temp gun out and my god this thing flies, not touched lsn yet and its popping wheelies in 2nd gear. Just took it down park to see mate whos got his revo and jato out and what happens?? Burn clutch out (still stock) and lose a brake pad hehe.. I got a short vid too which bro in law took and revo is cartwheeling ..

Needless to say new parts on order next day delivery and im off wednesday...

Also hope you all ok and Merry Christmas to all

Glad it's going well andy, clutches are consumables, keep a stock of them in the tool box.

Its been a good weekend for me, I took my erbe out after waiting 8 weeks for the replacement esc, I had 2 great sessions with no breakages, just good airs. I really needed a good session after all the waiting.

Whats an erbe mikey? And glad you had fun too bro. will send you email add incase this goes down again.

I have spare stock shoes that i could of changed but main issue was no brakes. I also got the st clutch to go on but was waiting for the traxxas bb mount to come. Well it came but it does not say that an arm is needed to come off the mount for the throttle bell crank to sit on (which is included in the full bb kit). Ive scoured the internet for the part solo but no joy.
New era do some parts which may fit but again its more money so i may just send it back and get 4 glow plugs in return.

I did get a 40t spur aswell. Will that work with the 17t cb? And did you see the short vid hehe.

Erbe is e revo brushless edition. I have 3 revos, the picco revo, brushless revo and 1/16 brushless revo. I am revo mad mate.

40t is a bit too big mate, i run 17/36 to tame the wheelies, 40t will give you more acceleration and wheelies is something the picco doesn't need any help with. I used a 40 on smaller engines but not on the picco beast.

I can't see any vids mate, perhaps the links aren't showing on tapatalk?

Gotcha, my mate has just built a brushless 1/16th and has nearly done 1/10 mm. I may get one myself next year if the mrs lets me. The 40 will give more wheelies? If so that can stay in the box. I have 36 on there and a spare.

I didnt touch the lsn today as waiting to get the full gallon through it, that should happen wednesday weather permitting.

The mrs is out on xmas do and littleman been in bed since 7pm. Yet again scouringnet for deals.

Hey Andy, glad you got some time in before the clutch went away! Are you changing motors, hence the switch to the Traxxas BB mount?

Got a chance to run mine a couple of days ago, have been leaning the HSN a bit. Running great, pulling wheelies even with the 17/36 setup if I stop then punch it at full throttle. Loads of fun and best yet I have not broken anything and the steel shafts have been working great with the extended drive cups.

Hi Jake.. I got the traxxas mount because i wanted more variation in clutch bell spur gear combos. Although i need another piece of metal to sit the throttle bell crank on so its just going to stay in the packet for now.

I just took the engine out to put the ST clutch only to realise i broke the wrench for taking the flywheel nut off and i dont have anything hollow enough inside to go over the shaft doh.. So its all shelved until i get another tool.

I will stick with the 17/36 as i too am popping wheelies galore. Ive not noticed any probs yet in my stock drivetrain touch wood. Glad yours is running great.. i will more than likely pop down motorway tomoz and get another tool..

I love that clutch andy, where did you get it and how much was it?

I am glad you opted to leave the primer off, you will be a lot safer without it.

Integy, just the name brings a chunk of vomit to the back of my throat.

Not all Integy stuff is junk, I have Integy wing mount center part and it's great! And most of their "not-aluminium" parts are good.

Wow, I never thought I would live long enough to hear a compliment about integy, lol, do you work for them?

You have been lucky then or you don't bash that hard, but believe me when I say, and 99% of folk will agree, that integy suck .

    No offence intended.

Hey Mikey. I got the clutch from the US from RCPlanet for $17.99. I had a feedback form from wheelspin models and told them they need to stock more clutchs for Revo . I will get another fuel filter after christmas.
I need to check transmission as when i took old clutch out it looked in good shape bar a bit oval. My slipper seemed fine and no funny noise from tranny so just waiting on time to fire her up...

Merry Xmas to you and yours too..

No idea mate, I read it earlier on and it looked fine. Did you link to a site or something? The mods get a touch tetchy over that. Did you check your pm's? My last post got edited but I didnt get any messages so I hope I didn't get any points, I was perhaps overly rude about integy. Lol.

Managed to get her started and wow what a difference with the ST clutch. Much better throttle response. Cut short by having to goto work. Atleast I know transmission is fine.

Hey Andy how are you! I have the .26 and have never taken out the reverse - and with no opti drive I can get her going pretty fast backwards LOL!!!
