    Rally VXL Cutting out!

I just picked up a rally vxl. It seems to work fine with one nimh power cell, but when I add a second one with the series connector it works for a minute or less and then comes to a hard stop like someone throwing the brakes on. I also don't have any steering when this happens. Any ideas?

Yup. Very common... too common in my opinion.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

Yup, 2 trips to the skate park, same thing happened both times. Call traxxas and they should get you a new one

If you decide to upgrade, here is a list I have compiled of servo's that fit:

I chose to go with the ******* 390; so have quite a few others.

It seems to be a heatsink with electric fan that was causing the problems. I unplugged it from the reciever and it started working fine. So far anyways. Weather was to crappy today to test it in the street for sure.
