So as my backup plan on the ERBE-gt build i have some parts to swap it to an E-slayer without much hassle if need be, but i was wondering if anyone has come across any true bead-lock short course rims in 17mm hex? So far i have come up dry. Heck even looking at amain they only list 4 17mm short course wheels period. and they are just color variations of the same rim. The only reason i am wondering about bead-locks is i had a SC truck originally well 2 i started back into RC with a Slayer and i also had an AE SC10 for a while. and they both blew through tires like nobodies business. Now im looking ahead to the possibility of a MMM powered SC truck and my wallet actually started crying at the though of replacing tires haha.
Anyone come across a Bead-lock rim in 17mm keeping the SC scale? I know i could go 1/8 buggy and never look back but i kinda like the SC scale if i go this route.

Ive been looking also and cant seem to find anything in a 1/8 style. Only found 1/10 and those monster truck ones.

that offset wont work properly with a SC truck. i think i'll just cave and go 1/8 buggy.
