I would really sugest trying the full throttle prime thing by blowing into the pressure line and even after the fuel gets to the carb just keep priming for 1 or 2 seconds. My trucks start immediately even from sitting for a while but then again they are traxxas'.

    its alive!

got some bash time in today after I finally got my slayer started again...... Used my glow ignitor. Idle gap was set pretty good from when I took carb apart and put it back together. Just a smidge high. Lsn needed leaned out a hair and hsn needed richened up some. The flat parking lot was ok at first for tuning and all until I spotted the random gravel pile over on a basketball court........ Ran about 5 tanks through it total. And im not sure if it was from the jumping or the few times I slid sideways into a parking tire stop..... Or the high speed flips when i turned to Sharp. But let's just say that eventually I started hearing a noise and soon after I realized I broke my right rear axle carrier right at center of axle almost lol so needless to say I was done for the day lol.

    its dead again

The same thing happened to me except I slid into a curb. My cheap fix was to take drywall tape, and remove the strands of string and wrap the hub really tightly with the string then I took epoxy and coated all the way around the string to make it hard. It actually lasted quite a few tanks until I jumped it and hit something mid air on an angle. Then I went to RPM and havent had a problem since

I never looked very closely but at a glance the hubs of the revo look just like the slayer. And the stock ones are cheap on Ebay.

by the box do you mean the wires on the car somewhere?

or the ez starting wand? because the wand still starts my other t-maxx.

ahhh, i though u meant the wand when you said the ez starter box lol. yeah it still starts my other car. i think its something with the wire to the glow plug or to the ground. because if i use my glow plug ignitor it works like a charm............

    new axle carrier is on............

put teflon tape on all my pillow ball retainers since some where loose............

adjusted my front body posts up a notch.............

replaced my broken antenna tube so its just shorter than the stock roll bar, should be good now..............

and my gear mesh must have tightened up last run out so i reset my gear mesh and put locktite on the bolt for adjustment......

might have to find an old sock for engine head and maybe get some runtime in tomorrow.

did you wrap your cooling head and then adjust your tune? i had to in order to run it. i used a thin little kids sock from the base of the head up to the top of the fins and it works perfect.

I just ran my pro today in 35-45 degree weather, the only thing that was wrapped in something was me haha.
Mine seems to do fine in colder weather, actually seems to do better in cooler temps.
