Any tire can go on the terrains you've mentioned, but a tyre that works well on grass and dirt (there are many many different kinds of dirt) will wear fast on the pavement, and if it's a mini pin tread it probably won't work too well in snow. If you do a lot of running on the road, then it might be worth investing in a street tyre. Proline Trenchers or Badlands work well on dirt and grass, and Trenchers would probably be ok in snow too. The stock Talons should be ok on street and grass, but they will wear quickly on the street.

This is why lots of people have several different sets of tyres. If you are new to RC though, try the stock tyres, and see what you think. If they work for you, don't change them!

Just to let you know, posting links of products listed on internet shops is against forum rules, and the search feature on this forum is awesome!

I would buy Trenchers, they will work amazing offroad, and pretty well in snow as well. But won't wear down nearly as fast as something like Bad Lands.

Then keep your Talons and use them for onroad and occasional grass.
So I taped my hamster to the Pede..

I'll suggest Mashers, they work great on any condition.

+1 for mashers. Here's my pede 2wd. Doesnt wear too fast on pavement and does well in gravel, dirt, etc for bashing. Its a basher oriented tire in design and rubber compound.

2.2 proline mashers cut to fit on 2.8 rims are a good combo. its easier than it sounds to cut and mount the tire. proline desperado rims also a good choice and prob more durable than traxxas. i like how there skinny and tall they have tons of grip on and off prob the best for snow and mud because the lugs are farthest apart kinda like paddles. however mine only last about 20 runs onroad with a 3 cell lipo
    or
2.8 proline trenchers never tryed em but there wider and about as tall as mashers prob last longer onroad and great off road
    or
2.8 proline dirt hawgs after the lugs get the edge worn off onroad, there not that great off road
    or
imex 2.8 baja wide.i plan on trying these next. i think there about the same size as trenchers but i think i read somewhere there a harder tire than prolines (mashers, trenchers ect..) and theres more lugs so they would last longer on road but prob not as good off road

it really depends on if your more on road or off road. for on road with the power of 3 cell or more they wear much faster. talons last along time onroad................

My Mashers wear onroad really quick with a 3s LiPo as well... I have probably only used them onroad about 20 times as well, and now they are getting pretty wore... I wouldn't use any offroad tire with a 3s LiPo onroad just because they wear down so fast with those speeds and abuse. The Talons work good for that.

So basically there is no off road tire that you can use on road so i just need to have 2 different kinds and switch them out depending on what i am doing.

Yep. Try to get a tire for both and it'll stink on both. Two sets is much better.

I have trenchers and they are awesome. Only issue is too much side grip on pavement and you'll flip a lot

I dont believe that to be true, IMO, unless your looking for a hi-performance street tire. Mashers and Trenchers are great for both.
