    my 1/16 summit is making a loud click in the front diff area it sound like plastic slipping but the only plastic drive shafts i have are the middle and there not . would the diff be making that loud clicking sound?

    i got the erevo steel drive shafts for my summit and they come out of the slots when i drive, i try ed zip tieing then suspension down for now but what parts would i need to make it e revo suspension

    More than likely you have stripped a ring and pinion set...
    I would replace the gears (ring and pinion) and then follow this:

    yeah do the shim mod that jimmie sent ya.

    Im running the cvds and they have never poped out on me. Ive had everything else around them brake and they have stayed inplace some how rock solid!

    It is the diff for sure. You will be able to tell if you gun it in reverse and it clicks it is the front diff. This is what happened to my summit just 2 weeks after running it. Just change out to a new ring and pinion and shim with RC18t shims. There is 4 in the pack and 2 shims should do it. My rear has not stripped at all but I threw 1 shim in just to be safe. The shim goes on the side of the ring between the ring and bearing.
