    Tyler I am guessing you are 13. Do you live in the US? The Summit is an awsome truck. There is alot to learn, but all the info is here you just have to find it & understand it (search button). I still get stumped once in awhile..
    Would you go flip my truck back over??

    No not if you take your time & watch how it comes apart & keep track of the screws. I cheat & put (start) them back in the part they came out of. I am building a SumRevo & it takes a little more time to find screws & parts to get it together. Summit is a good truck to have.

    God has the brightest lights. The lights on the summit are pretty bright too.

    Wether or not you should get one is up to you. It really depends on what you want to do with it, this is something that you need to ask yourself. They are espensive trucks, in my opinion the summit is worth the price that you pay for it.

    P.S. Grammer and spell checking go long way. It's easier for people understand the questions you are trying to ask.

    You won't regret it if you do. I would suggest doing a lot of reading being you get one. Educate yourself its the best thing you can do. Start with the Summit FAQ at the top of the page, there is more than enough info in there to keep you busy for a couple days. The search function can be your best friend. The most common questions have probably already been answered. If you need help don't be afraid to ask.

    Well Tyler, for what it's worth, my Son who is 13 saved up all his paper route money and bought a Summit a short time ago. We also live in Alberta and the Summit is really suited for our rugged environment. To keep this in simple terms.......

    The lights are sick, four drive is so wicked you won't believe what it will climb. You can buy some cool tires for it like Mudslingers. But the best thing about the Summit for a 13 year old is that if you look after it well, you likely won't need to spend all your money on replacement parts.

    You might need to get a parent to help you through some of the clean up and maintenance. There are two things I made sure my son did;

    1. read the manual
    2. Read the FAQ's on this forum

    Good luck and let us know what you buy (white is the fastest color)

    If you don't do anything reckless while driving it you should be fine. They are very tough trucks.

    Parts will break just part of the hobby. But good driving will help avoid breakage..

    My fellow Canadians seem to be taking over.

    They are relatively easy to work on. I am a new Summit owner and have not had any problems. The one thing you really don't want to do is run it hard and then just turn it off. My son and I have a ritual after each big run where we clean them up REALLY well and do the required maintenance. Like was mentioned, it's alot of money for an RC car. The good news it will last you for years and years. Here's the other good news......as long as you are running it or cleaning it, your not playing video games !!!!! It will teach you some responsibility. Now I am probably sounded like your Dad!!!

    Waiting on parts is a bummer. I have spares of what I think breaks the most. Then no waiting. You have other trucks in the mean time.

    ya for me i started watching craigslist and eventually i got a good deal on 3 pede's. one of them i turned to parts and the other two i use them as loaner vehicles. i got all 3 for $150 and they all worked!!! but ya if you can get a good deal one another of the same vehicle you can use it as parts!

    Yes you can use two 6-cell batteries, it will be slower though. Make sure you use the mah ratings.
