Pro 4x4 Tuning question
I picked up a slayer pro a few months ago and love it, but the tuning has me a little confused as in I've never tuned it away from factory settings. I tried to adjust it once and it ran terrible adjusted it back and it's fine again. I'm just curious if anyone else's slayer is like this. I have no intention of changing the setting, just curious if others have seen this with the slayers before.

What did you change? There's 2 needles and the idle gap.
-
High side. Fattened it up a tiny bit, bogged down on take off. Leaned it out a tiny bit, ran hot and shut down.

You need to touch the LSN too. Tuning is not complete with just turning the HSN.
-
I've never touched the low needle unless it wouldn't sit at idle. And that's pretty rare.
I don't need tuning advise! My car runs beautifully. Just curious if anyone else has experienced such a odd put of the box experience
-
you really should tune it you'll never fully enjoy it at factory/break in settings
-
I couldnt agree more with that. But when it out runs jato 3.3, smaxx 3.3, and revo 3.3 how can you complain about the tune?
-
so let me get this right, your faster than your buddys and it runs like a champ. so whats the reason for the post? am i missing something here? someone once told me, if its not broke dont fix it..
-
Reason for the post is just to see of anyone else has had such a odd thing happen out the box. I have 7 running Traxxas nitros and never had this happen out the box.
