Rally vxl running temps

Wondering what kinda temps you guys are getting off your stuff.
Last run had a motor temp of 120*F
stock setup rally with velineon 380
Wondering what its safe to run these up to?
Forgot to check ESC,but If I am not mistaken that has thermal shut down?

ive been running my mustang 302 for the past 2 days i've had it. it came with the series adaptor for the batteries and the thermal cut off is at 203*F, i know because i've done it. i thought the adaptor was for parallel and it was for a series.

as far as your motor temp, that is what i have had with mine. the esc runs about 10*F difference either up or down depending on how i've harrassed it.

The moter temp on mine is so hot I can feel it throught the cover.

TOPS: 200°... with a high risk of damaging the motor

Geared perfect: 160-170°

Geared low: 140-150°


My temps are usually around 150-160° running 2200mah 2S 20C LiPo's in parallel with the "speed" pinion; everything else that matters stock.

LOL. I get 110 max, but then that's stock pack speed pinion. 3S here soon to change that!

I know everyone has a different opinions on this but as for geared perfectly 170°F IMO is a little high; it's only some 15°C off the danger zone and no temp gun is 100% accurate I would stick to 160°F
