Great looking truck, I like it. Looks like some nice gear to start off with. The gearing you chose will most likely smoke a vxl combo, for 3s, you may want to start with 9-11/54 and find the 9 will have to do. I run a sct 3800 and find it tons of fun. My try my 2400 soon though. I running aka cityblocks with the truggy pede I built, ran nice on clay.

I like the body, agree with thedreadedend, that gearing is too high for the stock system on 3s, this truggy will look awesome.

I plan on running SC Wheels so it will be very similar to my old Slash 4X4 so it should be pretty good as far as heat is concerned. Plus this is a smaller, shorter, lighter chassis I also just installed a dual fan setup for the Motor and ESC

Let us know about the temps with ur 19/54 gearing w trenchers. Thermals??? Arizona is still pretty hot this time of year isnt it? I like the look so far, should look sweet when ur done.

May be able to do it with trenchers. Dj is talking about sc tranchers so, it may work for him..

If u are going with sc trenchers stick with 17mm and get some DE racing 17mm sc wheels to mount them on. Dont throw out your $ on that 12mm junk thats gonna strip the first time you bash hard.

Thanks Thomas, you might be able to fit it on a Slash but it's made to fit a TA T4.1 1/10 Truck

the Jang lit (TT) will not fit mine :/ it is app 50mm longer then the Stampede stock 4x4 car...

again, it looks REAL mean!!...maybe il be testing

19/54 on 3's with the VXL? Wow, what do you get like 5 minutes run time if that?. I am running 13/52 on 2's Lipos and after one full pack WOT pretty much the whole time, I had to let it cool (motor was like 190 and esc was pretty cool). Can't imagine that 19/54 runs cool on 3's, if so you would be a first that I have heard of. Nice setup regardless

Those are some awesome Truggys made out of the Stampede 4x4. I like the paint job of the Monster Energy drink paint job. that was highly creative. I so want a Stampede and make my own truggy.

dj it might seem lighter but it not i ran a p4de with 2.8 anacondas on it and i thought i could get away with 17/54 and with dual fans it still got hot to the point it thermaled on 3s so i knocked it down to 14/54 and i was good . not telling you what to do just giving you my experience
