    Power up program...worth it?

Just like the thread states. I have a Slash with the original 2.4ghz and a waterproof xl5 and still the Titan. I'm running brushes motors but I'm building my slash for the beach or trailblazing...I'm more into the beach idea more I think about. Brushless is the way to go the beach and the sand will destroy my stock motors. Only planning on running 2s. Anyways is it worth doing the power up program or just sell each unit individually? I do have the tekin repro I need to get replace for about 100 but only problem is its not waterproof. Any thoughts?

Power up can save you money- from brand new. But i bet you could find cheaper prices on ebay and such, saving more money than power up
Yes, I drive an electric converted Nitro Hawk.

are you ok with upgrading to the vxl because when i upgraded i just bought the pack together from my LHS and it cost me just as much as trading into traxxas and now i have the xl5 and 12t laying around for other vehicles. also no wait for shipping.

What is the cost of the power up program? I paid $149u.s off ebay for the VXL kit.

Well it may be worth it if you like everything of yours being brand in-the-box new. However, if you look on ebay you can get 2.4 2-ch radios for under $20 and receivers for $30, so grand total for an ebay setup: $50. Price for the same setup in-box from amainhobbies is about $85. Power Up promises AS LOW AS $62.50 for the setup. Pricewise, getting the stripped-from-brand-new-kit radio & receiver on ebay is cheaper.
We're all just a little bit mad!!!

Be sure that you are covered with traxxas warranty, I don't think you will if you buy from ebay.

Where I bought mine guaranteed a full traxxas warranty. It is a sealed in box band new item.
