Engine revving up while coasting after a throttle punch
I have noticed that my jato seems to rev up while I coast after acceleration, like to put this in the form of an example- I go from a rolling start to full throttle for a few seconds then let off and coast(no brakes) and the engine drops in speed after letting off, then say 1/2 second later the engine picks up in speed and sort of hops in speed till the car slows down(not all the way to a stop). now if i do the same thing as before but hit the brakes the car just sounds like its idling. Im thinking the transmission has something wrong with it. It is almost always in second gear before i let off the gas.
slipper?(its backed off ~1/2 turn from full closed)
transmission? (second gear?)
Check your throttle return spring.
That first...then tune, LSN set lean perhaps...then clutch.
Wasn't the spring richened up the LSN and problem solved.
