So my new SPC pack. Hard Cased 5200mah 2s lipo had a little issue. Only used it a couple times and one of the balance wires came off. Never crashed with the lipo or anything and always handled with care like I do with all my lipos in fear of them bursting in to flames haha. Anyways the lipo was in flawless condition minus the broken wire. Still looked new, not even a scuff on the lipo from sliding it in the car.
SPC said they received the lipo in the mail that I sent back for warranty but stated the case was cracked and damaged near where the wire came out which voids the warranty... Really? It was BRAND NEW. My only guess is the mailman played kickball during break time. I'm just skeptical considering it was packed decently in the shipping box so nothing would happen. Like I said with handling, I dont want it to burst in to flames so if was packed with care also in case it was dropped it wouldn't burst in to flames from the shock.

There is clearly a difference of opinion on the condition the battery is in and the cause of the wire breaking off. SPC is not allowed to defend their position due to the rules of the Traxxas forum, before this turns into a one sided bashing this thread is going to be closed.
