    Locker LED ?

    Has anyone ever tried to add a led to the radio that comes with the summit? I would like to add a LED to the locker switch so i remember i have it on

    I have not tried but it is probably possible...

    You would have to open up the radio and see what voltage is shown at the switch when activated.
    Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

    Ya that's what I figured. Was hoping someone had done it before and save me the trouble of figuring it all out. Don't see something in a few days ill pull it apart and figure it out. Having a led in their would be cheeper than a few broken diffs hehe

    Thinking on it a little more, it may be more difficult than I thought...

    The locker switch is actually an on/off/on switch...
    Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

    Don't you mean a off/on/on? You should be able to tap the first on for the front locker as that one should remain on for the rear locker as well. Or jump them both? Wish I had a old one to rip apart and play with.

    Nope... on/off/on.
    I double checked a few times when I tore my radio down.

    That seems backwards to the way it operates. Now I'm really curios to tear one apart. Wonder if the gf would notice her remote missing. Hehe
