Transmission shifts into 2nd gear and motor bogs out

My t-maxx 2.5 (with 3.3 in it) runs great until it shifts to 2nd gear and the motor bogs out like it's too lean on the Hi speed needle. The shift point is set at 6 and 1/2 turns from snug and it shifts right. Could the tranny be getting overloaded or something? If I richen the hi spd too much, the engine has no power and won't go over 1/4 throttle.

Check drive lines and push the truck and see if it locks up any.
I don't know what to tell you besides keep tinkering with it.
I know that's not very helpful though, not to worry though some of the
smart guys will prob answer your thread soon.

A bog at the shift point almost always indicates a lean HSN. Richen it up 1 hour at a time until the bog goes away. Then richen it up 1 or 2 more hours.

So richen it a 1/4 turn every hour

No, he was meaning, in your head imagine the needle is a clock face.
Turn the needle in hour increments like it would be like on a clock face.

I had the same problem with my revo 3.3. I ended up replacing all the wheel bearings and the bearing in the spur gear, and it ran fine. I know that sounds like it has nothing to do with not shifting, but it worked for me!
