    Lipo batteries getting wet

I was hoping to do some pond hopping with my Slash 4x4 using Sand Paws and 3S lipos. Is there any danger if and when the Lipos get wet? Will the water cause them to short out? Thanks

you should post slash 4x4 questions in the slash 4x4 setion..
but your water would damage your batteries and your system if your not using the waterproof VxL

I've ran my LiPo's in water a few times and they were fine but I wouldn't recommend. If you must run in water, try not to submerge your batteries, and put a balloon around them to try to seal them.
