    Radio Range

So during the winter i upgraded my radio to the traxxas 2.4 system. I used it for a little and it had amazing range but i tried it a couple of days ago on a flat open field and it lost the signal about 150-200 feet away from me. Ive got brand new batteries in everything. Anyone have any ideas why my range is so short or does anyone know if there is a warentee on the radio system?

    Thanks

check the antenna for any damage. Is there anything in the area that could cause any kind of interference?

if its not a damaged antenna your receiver may be bad.

I'd check your receiver, the antenna is prone to getting loose or broken off of the circuit board when being tugged or pulled. It doesn't take much. FYI to open it, just push those two little tabs on the receiver up and lift the cover.
