Rear end not getting full travel?

    Hey guys,

I recently converted my 1/16 Summit (brushed) to a MERV running CC SV2/4600.
I've the original tie rods, pushrods & shocks that the summit came with.

I've changed everything else to MERV; arms (RPM), rockers, black & tan springs.

I put it all back together and noticed I'm not getting full travel on the rear end, the arms are leveled with the chassis but when you take the shocks off, you get full travel..

I have pulled the shock apart and cannot find a "limiter" as such, do I need the rebuild kit for the revo? ie; smaller pistons or something..

    Cheers >.<

that's pretty much how the merv suspenssion is set up, I guess you are used to get more travel from the summit since it has larger rockers.

We compared it to a MERV (brand new out of the box) in the LHS yesterday and mine has much less travel =\
The rear arms on the original MERV made the slight A shape, where as mine didn't.

Problem solved, put the summit rockers on the rear, works a treat!

you will tip over way more with summit rockers on, in my experience with them. my solution was to get summit wheels/tires and keep the merv rockers. i get the same ground clearance as with the LT rockers on
