    So Im new here. Saying thanks to all

    Like the title says I’m new here, and wanted to say thanks to all of you for your wonderful info in these posts. The info was really helpful, and I wanted to return the favor and share my setup of my Slash 4x4 and hopefully be of some help to those of old and new on this forum. It's running a Castle Creations Mamba Monster 2650KV running with a Mamba Max Pro, 20t Pinion and 54t spur, and let me just say it is amazing running on 3s. In the last week of some hard bashing both on and off road I have had no issues what so ever with stock axles or slipper, and no heat issues in anyway. So feel free to ask any questions. Like you all, I’m here to help. Thanks again!

    As for speed.. Not sure how accurate it is, but using my Iphone straped in with the Motion-X GPS app running. I got a max speed of 43.2mph. The temps taken with temp gun read 118F-124f at motor.

    Speeds seems a little low

    2650 geared 20/54 running 3s should be good for 50 mph or so with stock sized tires

    What battery are you using ?
