    big bore's leaking

    i just got the traxxas big bore's and i just bashed them and there leaking.. please help

    Try rebuilding them. "Leaking" is a very vague term.

    Where are they leaking from? The shock cap or the bottom seals around the shock shaft?

    Probbably the shock caps are too tight, and the seals are pinched. Without more details we can only assume... :/

    They will leak some out of the shaft o-rings, just keep on top of them, and make sure they have enough oil in them to work well.

    All shocks can leak a little, especially ones with metal on metal threads. If you wrap a small piece of plumber's teflon tape around the thread when you screw them up this will stop leaking from the thread.

    When you rebuild your shocks, make sure you have the correct diameter diaphragms in the shock cap. The regular rebuild kits have a diaphragm that is too big(meant for plastic Ultra shocks) for the big bore shock cap and there is a different part number for the correct ones. I believe the part is #1765.
