    Titan 12 turn.........

Am I correct that the slash 2wd with the Titan motor can not run on lipo batteries?
    Thanks,Rob

No, you are not. The motor does not discriminate between power sources. It is rated for a 7-cell pack, which is 8.4v nominal but as a maximum up to 10v+. A 2S LiPo pack is 8.4v maximum.
The XL-5 is rated one cell higher and if it is a newer model incorporating an LVD, there is little reason to not run LiPos.

Very much appr. I just picked up a 12 turn-xl-5 2wd chad horn edition. today with plans to modify the heck out of it but wanted to tear it up first in true stock form for a while but wanted to do this on a 2s or 3s lipo.
    Thank again

Just make sure it is a newer model with LVD or you will need a LVA. The alarms can be gotten on ebay for cheap.
