This does not effect most of your club racing at local tracks. Most of your local tracks only loosely follow ROAR rules.

This would only be an issue at the large ROAR sanctioned event.

Well that's just silly. Stupid stuff like this is why I quit racing years ago. BUT without rules like this and "spec" classes, it stops being racing and rapidly de-volves into a check-writing contest.

How did this guy stretch 3 minutes into almost 11 minutes? While its a good point, I only lasted to the 8 minute mark before I had enough.
The club racing that we have in Edmonton is 2wd STOCK (if it didnt come in the box, its illegal) and modified (checkbook racing)

I doubt anyone will run around with calipers checking tread width at your weekly races.
