if you put a mamba max pro in the mini summit do you have to cut a bit off the reciver box ?

the esc doesn't has anything to do with the receiver box, only when you put a big block motor, you have to modify the receiver box, or get the traxxas 7024x (receiver box from brushed version).

Actually, they are putting the "x" box in all models now...

at least my new MERV came with one.
