i just sold my stampede to some guy and when i gave it to him it worked fine. now after he got home with it he said he turned it on and said it turns but will not go and the light just stays solid red. i have got him to put it into lipo mode and to recalibrate it but he said none of this made it go. he is using a different remote because i didn't give him one with it. could this be the problem? if so how can he fix it? or could the battery just need to be charged?

any noise whatsoever? If not might be motor , I had same problem with a new rustler. I ran it one time everything fne ,then next time trying to run it nothing but steering . I had access to another motor and it worked fine.
