In the speed runs, I think 54/23 and in the flips, 58/23. Or about 55mph and 45mph. Keep in mind I'm running the LST differentials also (they lower the gear ratio) so I gear higher.

Try the "insert video" button above the text area when your making a post, I assume you would just paste the actual link for the video and it should work.

Yeah, its hard to change, and even harder to get rid of. But i can deal with it for only $12.

I think I got it figured out....

    Fantastic....

Typically the onboard videos are too bumpy to even watch. Your camera mount is a great idea.

It's quite simple actually. Just a piece of aluminum channel from the security signs that people put in front of thier houses (mine was from CPI security) I just screwed it (the U part facing down) to some old front skidplates (had to bend it in one spot). It just so happened to be the perfect length. So when I want to put it on, I just replace the skid plates. For the speed runs, it shook a lot because the tires were not balanced and the font bulkheads were old....not allowing me to really tighten down on the mounting screws.

Which camera did you use. It really does a great job. Contrary to some others, I think the video is very stable, especially under the circumstances. Thanks for posting.

It got way too shakey at speed.

Thanks. Now that I've balanced my tires, and my bulkheads are relativly new, it should be even more stable. (notice how the mounting bar was always clear, the truck was what was shaking)

I used a key chain camera (search ebay for "#3 key chain camera"). Make sure you get the #3 version (will be listed as #3)....the other versions are not very good, just about horrible.

I have found that mounting on the wing/wing mount is wayyyy too flexible. I did have good results with mounting mine on the rear body mount....with a lot of tape to keep it still. The key is no camera movement, and no truck vibrations.
