What should I upgrade first on my Rustler xl-5?

Heres my list of parts Im planning to buy soon ( their not in any order )
    -RPM Bumper
    -RPM A-Arms, Front
-Alluminum Caster Blocks ( could anyone name a good brand? )
    -RPM Carriers
    -Anaconda Tires, Front
    -76T Spur Gear ( I already have a 23T Pinion gear on )

Is there anything else I should buy? My Rustler is stock right now

by steel bearings for the wheels. it makes a huge difference over the bushings.
why replace it when you can tape it back together?

Yeah, I mostly race on pavement. I still use my stock wheels when I bash though.

I wouldn't get any parts until they break. But all the parts you have listed are good to go with. You can either get Alum or RPM carriers they are both good. I don't think the new XL-5's have bearings cuz mine is only 2 months old and it DEFINITELY does not have bearings lol. Oh and as for the casters I would go with the TRX (traxxas) brand.

RPM Front bumper will save you some caster blocks I WOULD buy that right now. . Other then that how much are you looking to spend and are you currently happy with the speed or do you wanna go faster ? I would look into Lipo and brushless if you wanna go fast. Or just even lipo if you want longer run times and more consistent speed. Bearings are a HUGE difference! Anaconda tires are good for pavement

Thanks, I'm getting a Lipo ***** ********* 4000 mAh battery with and ******* Accucel 6 also. Do you suggest any brussless systems? The one I know about is the Velineon, but I hear it's either a hit or miss. The current system I have is the stock ECS XL-5 and the Titan 12T, no problems so far.

    Shagnat got it

The 2 most popular systems right now seem to be the VXL (velineon) and the Castle SCT system. Motors are dang close and Castle esc has tunning and the VXL is waterproof. Either of those options are about $100 ebay. I'm not sure if the SCT system can handle 3s people are saying it can even though the website says 2s ? ? ? ? So many questions.
