Cartwheeled into a pond and Killed my MMP =(

Well that's it! Total bummer. Had the esc in only a month or so. I warned my son to stay away from the pond. Then I bashed a little too fast and flipped down an embankment right into some murky water. I'm Hoping to have castle give me a deal on a repair but more than likely I'm Outta luck.

    Soo Sad... ;.(

It IS wrecked or it got wet? Did you try the rice trick? Put it in a bag of rice for a few days and see if it works... cant hurt.

Thats a bummer. I almost did that today myself. I was flipping right towards a pond at the park today. I felt my chest tighten up and clench my teeth lol. But thankfully some long grass caught my truck a couple feet before disaster. But yes try the rice trick. My friend did that with his phone when it fell in the toilet and it worked 2 days later.
So I taped my hamster to the Pede..

LoL yes that is true... But remember, toilet water is not that dirty. McDonald's toilet water is cleaner than their ice. Ewwwwww.
So I taped my hamster to the Pede..

It went swimming Pave.. I got it sitting in rice now. After breezing over the SCT box and quick start guide I didn't see any big warning on not to get it wet (although I new better) I might call Castle and play dumb..tell them I assumed it was waterproof like the stocker. Who knows, maybe they'll warranty it just this once.
    Can't hurt to try!

No doubt..I hate to even think about what I've dumped into this thing. An easy "G" without the batts. People ask me and I just blow it off. I feel sick if I really start adding it up. I now tell everybody... "About a hundred dollars" =)

    Talking It's Alive!

It's Alive!....Looks like I over-reacted! She spent the night in a bag of rice and seems to be good as new!
Now I wish I didn't jump the gun so fast and order another one.. Need to learn to relax.

Yup, I'll put it in the drawer next to the Velineon and the dynamite.
If nothing else it is great to know the SCT MMP ESC Can handle a good soaking. Or maybe I just got lucky!

I think they would. I think what theyre talking about is when you glue screen material to the fan housing. I would think gluing the factory switch to the factory case wouldnt void the warranty... you technically havent modded anything at all.
