SCT/3800 hesitation vs Stk ok with same battery

SCT/3800 hesitation vs Stk ok with same battery

I Installed a sct3800 set up 16/50 on 1 truck and experiancing hesitation on take off. Its a 1sec pause, 1sec burst, 1sec pause then goes like crazy.

Any experiance with this ??? I.m using new ********* 5200/2s2p/30c hardcases that work perfectly fine in the Stk truck.

worth noting that the ******* 5000/2s2p/40c batts work fine

Did you recalibrate teh radio to the new ESC?

Might try lowering the "Start Power" setting in Castle Link

I think you have found your own issue though. If one pack causes the issue to show up and the issue goes away with a different pack....sounds like the first pack is the issue to me.

Ya may have something with the castle link set up. I had my DX3S radio on 1st then switched back to traxxas just to eliminate that issue.

I have 4 New batts of each and all 8 batts do same.

I would think the 156 amps would be enough?

I'll try changing start power tomorrow

Battery isnt up to the task by the sound of it

You are geared a little too aggressive for a start, you will be pulling huge amps

Castle reccomends 15/54 as the max

What are your other ESC settings ?

    Timing
    Start Power
    Punch
