i bought that body painted. Warthog body has to be cut and drilled before i go for the paint. just came to know that our LHS dosent have much options in lexan paints need to go there and check what colours they have

the wings look good on yours but on maximus's if it matched the body that would be better.

also, what kind of body is that red one?

i bet you could drive it, you just need to tune it for the higher temps is all. its only gonna get hotter out bro. i would just tune for your temp and call it a day. maybe only run like 1 tank through then wait a few minutes just to let it cool some. but with right tune you shouldnt even have to do that.

in my opinion you need aluminum fronts before rear as they take more impact. for the price not bad, but i would recomend the flm for there warranty reasons just in case.

as far as the rd logic chassis braces i had aluminum ones on my 4910 basher and i hated them, took them off and put the stock plastic ones back on. just my .02 though

it wasnt the fact that they were aluminum. its the fact that they were cheaply made and the holes that led up to the tranny bolts were to small so i couldnt even replace the stripped screws with new traxxas part number allen screws. i loved the aluminum but i would try and find some from a better brand if it were me.

I had the same problem with the Traxxas aluminum chassis braces. The tranny screw holes were too small
in diameter, I had to drill slightly larger.

I would choose FLM bulkheads. If the warranty coverage is as good as claimed,
you cant go wrong. I have the GARC bulkheads and....there is no warrantee for obvious reasons.
Avoid the "soft like butter" Integy bulks with thier "you bought it, you eat it" return policy.
The ACNCM bulks you were asking about are decent too, but theyre a bit too thick
    and heavy for my liking.

there def. way better than stock. they are also 6061 material just like the flm bulks. if i remember right they work great but under to hard of a wreck the machined parts of it give way and bend because there machined to much or something like that. plus no warranty so you may have to eat the price where flm has the warranty to protect you if that does happen some how. but yes they will work just as well to a certain extent.

well i also hear the .18 is pretty good, and i was looking at them earlier. there not much more than a 3.3....... dont know if you would want to go down in size though.

i want a better motor coz 3.3 needs tuning it again and again. it just doesn't hold it for long.

ok, cus i run 33% traxxas top fuel and its a night and day difference in all areas. more power obviously, easier to tune, and it holds a tune much better as well. but if 25% is all thats available then you dont have much for choices in this area.

nice action pics by the way. i wish i could get some but i never have anyone to run with or go with me really

you say 33% holds the tune well. unfortunately we don't get it here. another thing that bothers me is the engine temp, it goes up to 400.i don't know whether my on-board gauge is faulty or what

I've never trusted those on board temp meters. If you want to get an idea of what your engine temps
are, look into temp gun,.Ive seen them for 20 bucks on ebay. In the meantime, as long as you
see a smoke trail coming out the exhaust pipe at full throttle you should be safe. Also listen
as you make high speed runs for sputtering/ warbling noises. This is an indication of a lean condition.

After a high speed run, put a drop of water on the top cooling fin.
If the water droplet immediately bounces off the fin, you're too hot.
If the droplet sits there and doesnt cook off, you're too cold.
The water droplet should take 2-3 seconds to cook off.

I would say faulty gauge. But first things first, how is the smoke trail? If its good then I would guess a bad gauge. I know a guy who thought his 3.3 in his revo was shot cause his gauge said 350, but the smoke trail was good. He got a new 3.3 and same thing. I put my infrared temp gun to it and it was 100 degrees cooler.
