Glad you got the Alum tranny How are the temps now ?

You thought about getting the Pro-Line Protrac kit for it to help handling?

Now for some new updates. Decided I wanted to put my Nitro wheels on my truck. I have a parts Nitro Rusty that donated the parts for the conversion to bearings in the front wheels. I added the aluminum castor blocks that I took off my running Nitro Rusty. I hardly ever drive it, so the stock castor blocks are fine. Pix:

The front wheels will roll just about forever now. Nice and smooth.

Thanks. This thing went from something I could play with when my Nitro was broken to its own project. My nitro is sitting collecting dust. I also wonder why the guys doing speed runs don't do this? The wheels have almost no resistance now, especially compared to the way it came.

I don't really know if my motor/esc is any better or worse as I have never had the VXL. I do know that I like the set up I have now, but it is a challenge to keep it cool.

Got a chance to run with the new front end set up yesterday and I am impressed. The turning radius is much tighter now. Before, if I wanted to do donuts, I had to get the tires wet and then whip it around in the parking lot or be on really loose dirt. Now, it will do really tight donuts anytime. I should have my new SPC 3s 4700mah battery tomorrow and my new AC680 charger around Thursday or so. I can't wait to try out my new battery.
