    1/16 E Revo Discharge Rate????

    I just bought a E Revo and Im going to buy some lipo Batteries and i need to know if the is a max discharge rate the esc can handle i have seen most have like 25c but i wanna know what it would do with 40c would it burn up or what??

    No such thing as a max discharge rate, motor draws whatever it needs from your batteries

    Stock motor can burst to 50 amps or so, you need batteries capable of delivering that

    20c packs will be fine and you will not notice much difference using a higher spec pack

    I actually noticed quite a difference in the Boost 45C pack I have compared to the Venom 20Cs

    I'm sure you may have noticed a difference

    Higher rated packs will hold a higher voltage under load, means more speed

    Question is are the $45 boost packs worth 4 times as much as some 20c packs ?

    I like the boost packs but for the average joe blow they are overkill
