I'm quite happy with the Trenchers. Finding that they bite even better as they wear down to around the halfway mark. They are performing well for me on loose gravel and low cut grass.

Have you used those on really loose gravel?

fit on Traxxas wheels or do you need to buy proline ones?

I'd say the BowTies or Calibers!

NIB Big-Blocks WS Pre-Mounted 1/8 Buggy Tires Glued

Personally, I'd wait until he gets the ones on black rims in.

I get good traction with Proline Switch tires on my buddy's track. It's "DG", loose gravel. The stock tires were useless, but when I bought some good tires it made all the difference. Just make sure you get the 2.2"/3.0" size and there will be more choices for wheels versus the straight 2.2" size. I use the Split Six beadlock wheels that I can also put my paddles or Calibers on. These chrome wheels were from RC4WD and were pretty cheap as a set of 4.

He didn't have the Big Blocks in when I first ordered, so I ordered the Mohawks. Since I have a pair of each now, I run the Big Blocks on the rear and Mohawks on the front.

Thanks for all the input guys/gals! I bought some Proline Bowties M2 Premounted beadlocks.
All I can say is these tires are 110% better than the stock tires on a very dry and loose bmx track.

Truck no longer tail walks all over the place, i can put down the power in a straight line and gnernally go where I want the truck to go.

Proline bowties are night and day different from the stock tires HIGHLY recommend!
