    Full throttle hesitation

I have noticed when I full throttle my slash 4x4, there is a hesitation as if your bouncing off the rev limiter in a real car, has anyone else experienced this?

I wanted to know how I can solve this problem. It just starts hesitating when I pull the trigger to full throttle and it won't go full throttle.

    Any input would be appreciated

I have various batteries, tenergy, max amps, and a boost battery from a guy on Ebay. Do I set the black switch on 70/30 or 50/50? its been on 50/50.

I reset it with the switch on 50/50, it still did it, when you pull the trigger to full throttle, it feels like your stabbing the throttle and letting off back and fourth, but the truck does not go full throttle, just like if a real car was not getting enough fuel, or bouncing off the rev limiter.

Set it at 50/50, centre the trim then calibrate the ESC

If it still does it with different batteries you may have a faulty esc / motor

I had an issue with a slight sputter on full throttle punch from a dead stop. Running traxxas radio and a Mamba Max Pro ESC. I had to install a Glitch Buster to get rid of it. They tell me it was a reciever glitch do to high current draw. I made my own Glitch Buster from a 4700 uf capacitor, but you can buy them for $6-15 dollars from places like spektrum and Novak. May not be your problem. I was just sharing my experience.

I sent the ESC and motor back to traxxas on 3/29 and yesterday 4/8/11 a brand new Velineon system arrived at my doorstep!!!!

They took care of me on this one. Can't wait to get in installed on my 4x4!

Update, as I got the brand new ESC and Motor back, installed it and this system had a issue with it!, So I sent it back a second time and they sent me a new system again.

I ve had no problems with this 2nd brand new velineon system. It just sucks that I had to pay for the shipping back to them which cost $9.00 this time around. But I got a new velineon system so I can't complain too much.

Thanks for helping me out Traxxas!
