    Very confused about cell phone services!

    Pay as you go. Prepaid. Unlimited. $2 per day. $.10 per minuted. Ahhh!

    So right now I have a pay as you go service. I pay X per month and get X minutes.


    What I'm looking to do is purchase a cheap Chinese smart phone and use it with a GSM service.

    I know that AT&T and T-Mobile provide GSM services. I don't want 3G, just just cheapest talk plan possible. Can I go to a local store, purchase a SIM card, then buy a $15 card and use that at whatever there rate may be?

    I have a feeling these companies actually provide a fairly cheap service that's not advertised.

    I think the Boost Mobile plan rocks, $50 a month with shrinkage, yes, as you pay and pay every month ON TIME, after six months it drops to $45 then eventually to $35... Unlimited talk, text, web, and USA long distance... And they even have blackberry smartphones...
