The LHS owner says this car will run with 2s in SERIES ??? Really?? 4s.... does anyone run this on 4s....can the esc handle the voltage ?? Not sure if I should throw 2s in series...... any info would be great.

No. It can run two 6 cell nimh is series. Not two 2s lipos in series.

The esc is not rated for 4s but I'm pretty sure people have done it with merv's. Not recommending it but just throwing it out there.

Well yeah, you can do anything you want I guess. Lol. Heck may as well try a couple 3s lipos in series on the stock esc. Lol

In lipo mode the ESC will not arm with 4s connected. You can get it to arm in nimh mode on 4s but then obviously you have no LVC. We did this with my son's MERV once just for the fun of it. The MERV was scary fast and the ESC got SCARY hot real fast. I would not recommend doing it with a stock system.

The 2 esc's I had could not handle single 2s's. lol.
