    new tires and some damage

I took my revo to jump a dirt hill I like to bash at and one of the stock tires ripped apart.. So I got some mashers =D

    those are summit rims.

so I took it back to the hill, the mashers get nice traction in the sand and I taped them so less chance to blow out.
after about 5 jumps heres what happened

it's a used revo so the ends may have been damaged before not sure.. Shocks seem fine other than the ends being pulled off.

is this a common part to fail?

I not the best to tell.... thought it might have been a driveshaft, tire, rim problem you posted pictures of, because I could not see the pictures like I can now..

Everything can break though... and difficult to tell how much abuse the truck has taken before you got it..

luckily not the most expensive parts to replace and while you are at it.. you can choose springs and oil that matches your jumps and driving style...

I stretch those ends... so they definately get damaged, although I haven't pulled one off yet. But if the guy who put them on, stripped them, then you'd expect this sort of damage.

by the way , the masher are good tires at least :-)
thought the other day when shooting the video posted with title a little clip, that I wanted some with more grip... then I tried my stock Traxxas Talons that I still had in the garage just for fun and a little grass running... OMG... the masher sure are good tires... have had mine for quite some time now... cant hardly see that they have been used

The previous owner most likely stripped the ends out. I have never had mine pull out like that before and especially both. But it looks like you had a blast. Bash it, break it, then fix it. That's my motto even tho the last part break it happens more than I like.
