Exclamation Throttle servo "jitter" and WOT randomly

So I live in the city and my Maxx kinda jitters when I hit the gas, I have eliminated the engine being the problem. After some more poking around I found that even after trying three different servos, They all jitter when plugd' into the CH2 on my receiver and its only when IO have the transmitter in my hand. I also have tryed to use a fail safe with it but it wont un-engage, I assume its because of interference. I think its the radio system( kinda old) I just need to know how much it's gonna cost me to fix it

P.s This is my first post so im srry 4 any n00bish stuff I just said

I've had and have the same problem with my steering servo, its most likely your radio system like you said. Check your receiver that's most likely the problem, you may have to buy a new complete radio system.About the prices I'm not really sure check the horizon hobby website they'll have what you need.
PS. check the batts in your transmitter and in your truck.

Do you think a 2.4ghz system would be a more senceable option?

Yes! you would have hardly any more problems, and better range.
And the big bonus!!! no flimsy antenna to break lol just a little stub.
